Who We Are

Grace Church is being led by Peter Leach. He previously worked for churches in Dagenham (St George’s), York (Trinity) and Derby (Christ Church), as well as studying at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC.

Peter is married to Libby and has three young children, Sarah, John and James. He likes books, board games, walks, and messing around with woodworking tools.

Although Peter is the minister on the ground in Coventry, the IPC is committed to the principle of plural eldership – it’s not healthy for the church or safe for the minister’s soul for him to serve too long alone. In due course we hope to raise up other elders within Grace Church to share the leadership. Before then, as the church begins, elders from Derby are supporting Peter and keeping him accountable. We plan also to have visiting preachers on a fairly frequent basis, so that the church is taught by more than one voice.
